Theos

I've been working on this piece some more, so here is the new and improved version plus Version 2 [link]

Did this for my Graphic Design class, the assignment was a text-only poster.

The words are Koine Greek, the font is some default Greek face which makes the sigmas in the middle of words the same as the ones on the end, which is wrong because there are two variations of sigma: one for the middle and one for the end. But w/ev. Anyway.

The word in the middle is, of course, Theos, Greek for 'God'.

Around it (the darker box) are the words 'agape' (love), 'zoa' (life), 'adelphos' (brothers), 'huios' (son), and 'doxa' (majesty, i think).

The outer text is made up of the words 'kakos' (evil), 'haima' (blood), ' pur' (fire), 'hamartia' (sin), 'nekros' (the state of being dead), 'thanatos' (death), 'excatos' (last), ' ponarous' (bad), 'ergon' (work), 'tuphlos' (blind), and a couple others that I forget the meaning and pronunciation of.....

Probably no one actually cares what it says, but it makes a lot more sense if you know.... and being the linguistics dabbler that I am, I had to write that out for you.
